After confirming an appointment you pay a deposit of 500 CZK. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another date with timely cancellation (24+ hours in advance).
An appointment can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance — the 500 CZK deposit remains valid for the new date. Cancellations less than 24 hours in advance forfeit the deposit.
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance. For urgent requests, get in touch — we sometimes have earlier availability.
It depends on size and complexity. A small tattoo (up to 5 cm) takes 1–1.5 hours, medium (5–15 cm) 1.5–2.5 hours, larger work 2.5+ hours. We'll discuss the exact time at the consultation.
Of course! Send references and sketches in advance. Our artists will adapt and refine your idea so it looks perfect on skin.
It depends on placement and individual tolerance. Most painful: ribs, ankles and inner arms. Least painful: outer arm and thigh. We always offer numbing cream on request.
Get a good night's sleep, eat 1–2 hours before arriving. Come in comfortable clothing that allows access to the tattoo area. Please no alcohol the day before or on the day.
Surface healing takes 2–4 weeks. Full healing of the deeper skin layers takes 3–6 months. After healing we offer a free touch-up if needed.
Yes — adding to an existing tattoo or creating a composition with it is one of our specialities. Bring a photo and we'll discuss the options.
We only tattoo persons aged 18 and over, or from 16 with written parental consent.
You must bring a valid ID to verify your age — if you cannot, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment. Before the procedure you will also be asked to sign a health declaration.
Exclusively implant-grade titanium ASTM F136 and 14k/18k gold for initial jewellery. After healing, other materials are possible.
It depends on placement: earlobe 6–8 weeks, helix 6–12 months, septum 6–8 weeks, navel 6–12 months. Exact instructions are given after the procedure.
Only after full healing — never sooner. We're happy to help with the change in studio so you don't risk complications.
It depends on technique, skin and aftercare. Typically 1–3 years. Oily skin and direct sun shorten the result. We recommend a refresh after 1–2 years.
We apply a local anaesthetic before the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching or pressure — not pain.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, Reaccutane in the past year, active skin conditions, bleeding disorders, epilepsy. We always discuss your health status before the procedure.
For the Starter course you need nothing at all. For advanced courses, basic drawing skills are an advantage but not required.
The Vesna Tattoo Academy certificate is recognised within the tattoo community. It is not a state licence — which does not exist for tattooing in the Czech Republic. The certificate demonstrates your expertise to clients.
Courses are primarily designed for a female audience, but we welcome everyone. The environment is inclusive and friendly.
